The game of golf continued to thrive throughout 2021 as sustained enthusiasm led to crowded courses and high demand tee times, which was demonstrated by increased activity on Golfshakewith the traffic on our services (in particular the Directory of golf courses) highlighting this feverish appetite.
Golfers remain keen to know where they should be playing, and with more 13,000 new reviews submitted to our golf course review system, we have once again compiled a list of golf courses that excelled in the golf experience they offered in 2021 based on review data and recommendation from everyday golfers visiting their site. All these sites deserved Highly recommended golfshake status for 2021.
Highly recommended golf courses in 2021
The data compiled provides great publicity for all the courses listed as everyday golfers who visited their site felt the experience met their expectations and would recommend to others. To receive this distinction, golf courses required at least seven independent ratings and a highly recommended rating of over 90% in 2021.
