The luxurious relaxation room of the Shelbourne spa

Move over Santiago de Compost ela – there is a new pilgrimage in town. This one, however – on Prince Edward Island, off the east coast of Canada – has a gastronomical bent rather than a spiritual one. It is a 700 km loop walking trail in 32 sections that follows the perimeter of the island and joins the points of lobster shacks, oyster bars, poutine possibilities, accommodations, a museum of the potato (yes, really), exquisite landscapes and even the fictional house of Anne of Green Gables.
