The Westin Mission Hills Golf Resort & Spa redefines the resort experience with a $15 million makeover – Hospitality Net

Located on 365 acres in Rancho Mirage, the Westin Mission Hills Golf Resort & Spa is launching a two-year, $15 million renovation next month. The resort is Coachella Valley’s new entertainment mecca, with the launch of its brand new event venue, The Backyard, featuring live music and weekly concerts. The multi-million dollar renovation that included guest rooms, meeting space and all recreation areas was a collaboration between California-based Clearview Hotel Capital and KMC&A Design.

The resort’s 512 guest rooms and 130,000 square feet of meeting space have been completely renovated, embodying a new modern aesthetic with the luxury feel and amenities travelers have come to expect from the Westin brand.

With new family-friendly activities and offerings throughout the resort, The Westin is the desert hotspot for multi-generational travel. The resort’s Las Brisas pool is now the ultimate family pool with the addition of a second slide, 30-foot double-barrel waterslide, upgraded pool bar, expanded pool deck and of the addition of luxurious cabins. The new Pinz & Pints ​​offers bowling, arcade games, air hockey and family-friendly food and drink. The newly updated Discovery Center, for ages 3-12, features movies, arts and crafts, games and an ice cream stand for the kids while their parents have fun golfing, playing tennis, pickleball or relax at the newly renovated spa.

The Westin added 12 new pickleball courts, alongside three renovated tennis courts. The resort has also implemented a Versa basketball court and a new sand volleyball court. The Westin Mission Hills Golf Resort & Spa is home to the award-winning Pete Dye Golf Course. Its challenging yet forgiving design makes it ideal for golfers of all skill levels.

Despite all the activities and sports practiced in the resort, the property is also the ideal place to relax and recover.
