If you’re looking for a wind this summer, South Florida has great weather and great golfing areas.
Here are the best golf courses in the city, according to the latest ranking in Golfbreaks by PGA:
Blue Monster at Trump Doral National
This Doral location is home to 50 years of PGA touring. It is known for its tricky maneuvers as golfers have to avoid side waters and thick rough.
Miami Beach Golf Club
The golf course is known for its 18 holes, its many par-4s, its palm trees around the fairways. It is known as one of Miami’s must-see courses, according to GolfBreaks.
International Links Melreese Country Club
The 6,500 square foot course features five lakes, 97 sand bunkers, nine trash bunkers and cypress wetlands. The 135-acre golf course is located adjacent to Miami International Airport.
Red Tiger at Trump Doral National
This golf course is the sibling of the Blue Monster, but it remains a fan favorite. Known for its family environment and corporate tournaments, the course has a par-5 5th, which is considered the signature hole, and “features a wide dogleg around the lake with the approach shot played to an island green” , depending on the ranking.
The Soffer Class at JW Marriott Miami Turnberry Resort & Spa
This course has hosted several PGA events. It is described as a risk-reward course that is surrounded by creeks and lagoons through its fairways. The course was recently updated to provide golfers with a smoother putting surface.
