LOS CABOS, Mexico (August 19, 2022) – Golfers visiting Los Cabos this summer and early fall can expect well-groomed courses, plenty of sunshine, plenty of availability, and deeply discounted green fees. Summer is the time for family vacations, but it’s also the season that invites players to let off steam at great prices on six championship-caliber courses.
Questro Golf, which oversees three premier facilities in Los Cabos, is offering substantial seasonal discounts through October 31.
Golf of Questro Club Campestre San Jose, located 15 minutes from Los Cabos International Airport, is a local favorite. This multi-themed Nicklaus Design venue, blended into sloping desert terrain creased by winding arroyos, offers emerald green fairways, large undulating greens and a host of well-placed bunkers. The Sea of Cortes is visible from every hole. In addition to a green fee of $140 from 7 a.m. to 12:20 p.m., there is a sunset fee of $100 after 12:30 p.m. Club Campestre offers the best value in Los Cabos.
To Cabo Real, located at the center of the tourist corridor, the club’s Robert Trent Jones, Jr. designed course presents a scenic and memorable test that climbs from the waterfront on the front nine to rugged foothills nearly 500 feet above the sea on the demanding back nine. Here the fairways stretch over the ridges and teeter along the edges of deep canyons. Large bunkers and mounds that mimic the mountains defend the elevated greens. The green fee in Cabo Real is $180, with a sunset rate of $125.
Puerto Los Cabos, located on the outskirts of San Jose del Cabo, is a superb 27-hole resort with an 18-hole course designed by Jack Nicklaus and a nine-hole course designed by Greg Norman. Subtly contoured greens, large sculpted bunkers and dramatic elevation changes mark the nine Nicklaus I & II, which were built 10 years apart but blend seamlessly. The Norman Course, marked by flashing bunkers reminiscent of Australia’s Sandbelt courses, has over 400 feet of vertical drop. All 27 holes offer panoramic views of the coastline and sea, with three 18-hole combinations available to play. The summer green fee is $220; the twilight rate is $160. Fares include free food and drink served on the course palapas.
At each Questro golf course, green fees include 18 holes, one shared golf cart per round, use of the driving range before the round, and bottled water.

Palmilla Golf Club, home to the first Jack Nicklaus Signature course built in Latin America (1992), is offering a segmented system of discounted rates for outdoor play through October 31. Mid-day rates at the 27-hole club are $140; the twilight rate tops out at $110. Considered the “Grande Dame” of Los Cabos golf, Palmilla’s Mountain, Arroyo and Ocean nines, nestled in a box-shaped canyon framed by boulder-strewn arroyos and vast trash bunkers, offer splendid sea views and admirable versatility from multiple sets of tees. Set back from the Pacific Ocean, Rancho San Lucas, opened in 2020, is the destination’s newest venue. Spanning three different ecosystems, this airy and low-key Greg Norman-designed layout traverses giant dunes at the start, climbs through a cactus forest criss-crossed by arroyos, and brings players back to the beach and sea on the back nine. . Two comfort stations on the course serve free Mexican dishes and refreshments. A breederclubhouse-style overlooks the fairways and sea. Guests of Solmar Group hotels, including the Grand Solmar on-site at the Rancho San Lucas Resort, can access the golf club. Until October 31, the resort guest rate is $185. To Quivira Golf Club, its epic Jack Nicklaus-designed course marked by massive dunes, sheer cliffs and desert foothills, guests of Pueblo Bonito Resorts can enjoy summer rates through September 30. golf summary listed as the “100 Greatest Golf Courses in the World”, Quivira, a gravity-defying wonder that clings to its Land’s End site above the sea, is priced at $275 for the mid-morning period 11:00 a.m. to 12:24 p.m. Twilight rate, available from 12:36 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., is $233.
