Pinehurst Lands North Carolina on the list of the best golf courses in the world

It’s obvious to anyone who’s ever been to Pinehurst golf courses, but at least one publication in the world has recognized one of North Carolina’s famous courses as one of the best in the world.

our good friend Randi Moultrie at sister station Country 103.7 in Charlotte first reported the story of Diario AS.

Diario AS wants you to discover some of the most beautiful golf courses in the world. When ranking, they took into consideration the history, beauty and overall quality of courses around the world to discover their top 10.

Both North Carolina and Caroline from the south finished with courses on this list, and not surprisingly, being in the birthplace of American golf. For Pinehurst, Diario AS had this to say:
